I woke up today with a mission to dye my hair. I’ve been itching to color it for awhile now but I wasn’t sure if I wanted a subtle or drastic change. So I had two boxes—-and went with the subtle route. Thus started my day…
Today was an awesome, awesome day. The past two days our town had seen Snow, and it doesn’t bother me at all. I enjoy the snow, as long as I don’t have to commute in it. And it was, of course, WONDERFUL to see the Sun (it’s Washington State, sun is definitely NOT an everyday occurrence) out for a change.
My husband and I had lunch at our favorite Gyro place. Oh man, how I could eat Gyros everyday of my life if I had to. Then we stopped into B&N, but later decided to hit up on of the Borders bookstores that was closing up (if you haven’t heard, Borders is filing for bankruptcy, google it!). We took a trip across the only tolled bridge to Gig Harbor. OmG, I found so many goodies, it was insane. I had to narrow it down with my hubby’s help:P
Afterwards, we decided to hit up the nearby Target just to take a gander and buy dry cat food, literally. I spent time alternating with testing out my time-lapse skills with an app I found for my iPhone, at just about every place we went…Fun times! We headed home as the sun started to fade and cold chill moved in. It was a great day out…And a much needed one too!
The other best part of my day was receiving my third package of four LOL. Awesome sauce.

18 Oct 2010, Monday.
Wow! It’s been one full month since I have made a post here. I know that it doesn’t seem that long at all it has been for me. What with all that has been going on with me and all around me. I haven’t been up to too much in general. I just got finished with a YouTube “30 Day Challenge” with a bunch of my friends that are scattered around the Bay Area. Oh how I miss the Bay. *le sigh*…
The “Challenge” was about making a video per day for 30 days, with a different topic to tackle for each of those days. It was pretty awesome, exciting, and exhausting at the same time but nonetheless I feel greatly accomplished for finishing it! Only 4 of (us) 6 were able to complete it. Not even Pauline, who happened to be the one who thought it up, was unable to finish. But she’s a WAY busy bee lol. It was really awesome to see all my friends participating and sharing things about them that I thought I knew but turned out I never really knew at all. I miss them lots!!
In other news, I kind of developed this temporary high of compulsive shopping. It sounds really bad. I’m usually really good at just buying only the things I need but lately I’ve just been buying little things every now and again because I know that I have always wanted it/wanted to try it. With that said, it all started in the month of June, when I got hooked to some beauty gurus on YouTube. Such shame but I really mostly just enjoy watching them but once I started to try some things, I really got into the habit of purchasing all these beauty items I have been wanting to try. Not only that but I have become a YouTube junkie! Watching other channels but also tending to my own. Its amazing how we can get hooked on this most simplest of things that bring us enjoyment.
But Happiness is Key in life. Even if something is temporary, just the experience of it can leave you find a permanent kind. At that goes for most anything:)
‘Til next time<3
What about that CRAZY Washington Weather?!!
In the years that I have lived here, I have been blessed to see ALL four seasons… And I have learned to never listen to the weather forecaster because they are pretty wrong most the time. Also not to expect anything but unpredictable weather. But come on now, its almost summer! Last summer’s warm weather came really late, as in August!
So as it turns out, we had a great fantastical sunny week LAST WEEK and now this week its ALL KINDS of craziness. The forecast was, “expect rain all week”, which has been true. But it will be sunny in the morning, cloudy close to afternoon, and then pouring rain every 15-30 minutes scattered along the way. I don’t even know why I’m ranting, I should be used to it by now. I have nothing against the rain. Its just cold and most days you would like to know what to expect…..
That’s the beauty of this State though.

Exploring the NorthEast.
So Chris and I tend to take adventures every weekend, the past two weeks the journey has taken us to the East side of Washington State. We spent some time exploring Issaquah. Which is an amazing town, just about 19 minutes East of Seattle. The town is very beautiful, it reminds me of the Bay Area a bit. Not so much scaled buildings but open, like the Valleys passing through Richmond and what not. I loved it! We went to the local Zoo, made our way to Uwajimaya’s (LOVE IT THERE!), and had dinner at good ol’ Claim Jumpers.

And just this past weekend we headed back East, this time through the countryside, and eventually into the mountains to the town of Eatonville. The surrounding land was breathtaking and serene. You could see Mt. Rainier in clear view, it was nothing but blue skies and sun. It was wonderful! We passed through the countryside, which contained many MANY houses along lakes. Some of the houses were big beyond belief. When we finally made it to our destination, we were into the woods, trees surrounding everywhere. And you would think, well, You live in Washington, aren’t you always surrounded by trees? Not true. But in the case of this town, Yes! And wild animals in your own backyard. We visited the Northwest Trek, a wild animal zoo/safari. It was so fun! We had a Safari-like ride into the forests and vast land. We saw Bison, Billy Goats, Bald Eagles, Lynxes, Bobcats, Black Bears, Brown Bears, and among them we saw a pack of Wolves! It was a mighty long day. We ended up going to the nearby mall just to stroll around while the sun was still out and shining. By the end of the day we were knocked out, tired.
